Are Bassetts Soft & Chewy vitamins suitable for vegetarians?

Our vitamins contain bovine (beef) gelatine and are therefore not suitable for vegetarians.

What gelatine is used in Bassetts Soft & Chewy vitamins?

We use bovine (beef) gelatine in our products. This gelatine is Halal Certified and therefore acceptable for use by Muslims.

Are Bassetts Soft & Chewy vitamins gluten free?

We do not knowingly add any gluten based ingredients, although we cannot 100% guarantee gluten free status as our suppliers may use gluten in their processes.

Are Bassetts Soft & Chewy vitamins free from yeast, sugar, gluten, lactose, nuts?

We do not intentionally add any of the listed allergens to our vitamin products. However some of our ingredients suppliers use these allergenic ingredients in some of their other products and processes and therefore our vitamins may not be suitable for people who suffer from severe allergies. We recommend that you consult your doctor or dietician before use.

What source of Omega-3 DHA is used in Bassetts Soft & Chewy Vitamins?

Oily fish like herring, mackerel and salmon are good sources of DHA, however, these fish do not actually produce the omega-3 fatty acids, but instead accumulate them from either consuming the microalgae that produce these fatty acids or eating other fish that have consumed the microalgae. Bassetts Soft & Chewy Omega-3 DHA is sourced directly from the microalgae that produces Omega-3.

Do you still make the blackcurrant flavoured multivitamin product?

This product has been replaced by our new and delicious berry flavour multivitamin called Everyday Health which contains a broad selection of vitamins as well as Lycopene, the antioxidant substance found in tomatoes.

Do you still make the orange flavoured Vitamin C product?

This product has now been replaced by our new Vitamin C & Zinc product which comes in a delicious tangy orange flavour.
